The anticipation has already been building since the conclusion of this year’s thrilling event, and now, the organizers have announced the dates for the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2024.

The Goodwood Festival of Speed 2024 is scheduled to take place from Thursday 11 – Sunday 14 July, 2024.

As always the Festival takes place at the Goodwood House and Motor Circuit in Chichester, West Sussex, England.

As one of the most prominent and prestigious automotive events in the world, the Festival promises to be an automotive extravaganza celebrating the history, heritage, and future of motorsports.

What to Expect

The Goodwood Festival of Speed is renowned for bringing together an unparalleled collection of iconic racecars, supercars, and classic vehicles, along with some of the most legendary drivers and riders from different eras of motorsport. Visitors can look forward to witnessing thrilling hill climb action, where drivers push their machines to the limit.

Recalling the 2023 Goodwood Festival of Speed

Let’s take a moment to relive some unforgettable moments from last year’s event. In my previous blog posts, I documented my exhilarating first-timer experience at the 2023 Goodwood Festival of Speed.

The 2023 Festival of Speed saw some incredible moments in celebration of its 30th anniversary!

Including some thrilling balcony moments with Sebastian Vettel (4-time Formula 1 World Champion) and Ferrari Le Mans Winners (James Calado, Antonio Giovinazzi, Miguel Molina).

Attendees were also some of the first to lay eyes on special debuts and reveals, as this year hosted “the biggest number of debuts seen at the Festival of Speed in its 30-year history.

Additionally, one of the most anticipated moments at the Festival is the iconic Hillclimb challenge, where drivers from various disciplines come together to compete for the fastest time. The 2023 Shootout winner being the McLaren Solus GT.

And as usual, the Festival grounds were lined with interactive exhibits and displays. Attendees could explore the rich history of automotive engineering, marvel at concept cars that may shape the future, and interact with manufacturers to gain insight into the latest technological advancements in the automotive world.
